Optimized drive technology by intelligent control

The company has developed the ehb SMART product family for the optimum functionality of construction machinery: The core component is the MCflex motor control system. It offers the user a wide range of functions for controlling and monitoring conventional and electronically controlled diesel engines. The settings can be individually configured for a wide variety of applications and engine variants.

For monitoring, visualizing, operating and controlling applications via CANbus (SAE J1939), high-resolution displays with automatic adaptation of the backlight and a variety of functions have been developed. The ehb SMARTdisplay 70 has a capacitive touch screen and an intuitive graphical user interface without additional mechanical operating elements. All ehb SMARTdisplays can be perfectly read even in poor lighting conditions.

Theft Protection and Satellite Positioning and Predictive Maintenance

Real-time information on the location and operating conditions of their vehicles is essential, particularly for fleet operators and maintenance staff of mobile and stationary installations. The current location, monitoring and control of the systems is just as important as protection against misuse. With the ehb SMARTrmc (Remote Monitoring and Control System), ehb electronics has developed a compact and robust telemetry module that can monitor, record, report and, if necessary, trigger alarms for all information provided via the SAE J1939 CANbus.

The powerful 32-bit processor, integrated GSM modem and GPS receiver seamlessly connect to virtually any SAE J1939 CANbus device. In conjunction with the ehb SMARTcloud, all parameters can be displayed on a mobile phone, tablet or computer. Engine specific parameters can be monitored as well as GPS mapping information. Owners and end users are informed via voice message, SMS or e-mail about the current status of their machine and where it is located.
