HMCflex

ehb5221

The HMCflex is a combination of chipper and motor control: It controls and monitors a multitude of functions of conventional as well as electronically controlled diesel motors - up to the emergency stop of the motor. Everything is contained in a single unit, additional accessories such as relays are superfluous. Freely programmable outputs also allow a flexible machine design.

FAQ

Why can't the device be switched on?

Check if the supply voltage is connected with the wrong polarity. The reverse polarity protection avoids damage to the electronics, but does not replace the correct polarity of the connecting cables.

How and why must the device be connected to terminal 30?

The power supply cables terminal 30 pin 14+16 must be wired with the largest possible cross-section and terminal 31 pin 5 of the MCflex directly to the battery poles of the battery.

This ensures that the MClfex has sufficient voltage available during the starting process. This is particularly important when the battery is cold, too small or partially discharged. In addition, the MCflex is much better protected against overvoltage, undervoltage and interference pulses as these are absorbed by the battery.

Is the emergency stop switch suitable for continuous operation?

NO!

Interference impulses with the two-pole version of the emergency stop switch cannot be dissipated to the battery and lead to damage to the electronics.
